Job description

Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain, the first Raffles in Bahrain, is hiring an In-Villa Dining Waiter. The waiter provides professional, personalised in-room food and beverage service, delivers and collects orders across the property by buggy, and sets up Destination Dining experiences for guests.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, garnishes and preparation methods to assist guests with recommendations and enquiries
• Greet guests warmly and provide professional, personalised in-room food and beverage service
• Set up, present and serve meals to departmental standards, including table settings, presentation and portion control
• Respond to guest requests promptly while promoting additional F&B services and upselling opportunities
• Keep trolleys, workstations, equipment and storage areas clean and organized
• Follow food safety and HACCP standards
• Collect and break down used dishes, trays and trolleys discreetly after each meal service
• Report guest feedback, complaints and irregularities to management
• Support other F&B outlets during busy periods
• Safely drive a buggy to deliver and collect in-villa dining orders across the property
• Take responsibility for Destination Dining setups, including outdoor or special-location arrangements

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an In-Room Dining Waiter or F&B Server in a 5-star luxury hotel or resort
• Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are a plus
• Ability to lift trays and trolleys and work outdoors in heat
• Strong knowledge of menu ingredients, wine pairing and upselling techniques
