Kids Club Team Member

Job description

Bahrain Surf Park is looking for a Kids Club Team Member to deliver fun, safe and engaging activities for young guests. Reporting to the Kids Club Manager, you will lead daily arts and crafts workshops, outdoor beach games, educational programs and mini surf-themed activities.

You play a key role in giving young guests a joyful experience while keeping to the highest standards of safety and care, so that parents feel confident while their children explore and play.

Responsibilities

• Run daily scheduled kids' activities such as arts and crafts, board games, storytelling, sandcastle competitions and mini surf games.
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play sessions, keeping continuous visual contact.
• Help set up, host and run birthday parties, seasonal camps, themed workshops and holiday events.
• Follow child security protocols including wristband tagging, parent verification and sign-in/sign-out logs.
• Sanitize toys, equipment, tables and craft tools daily and keep play zones clean, organized and safe.
• Respond quickly to minor incidents, comfort distressed children and report injuries or behavior issues to the Kids Club Manager.
• Greet parents, update them at pick-up and attend to special care instructions or dietary requests.
• Work with colleagues, Lifeguards, Guest Services and F&B staff on family events and daily schedules.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma in Early Childhood Education, Childcare or Recreation Management preferred.
• Certified in pediatric first aid and CPR, or willing to obtain it on hire.
• Background check / child safeguarding clearance certificate.
• Fluent in English; Arabic fluency is a strong advantage.
• 1-2 years of experience working directly with children in childcare centers, summer camps, hotel kids' clubs, theme parks or sports recreation venues.
• Experience hosting games, leading creative crafts or organizing group youth activities.
• Flexibility to work rotational shifts, weekends, school holidays and public holidays.
