Kids Club Manager

Job description

Bahrain Surf Park, home of the Club Hawaii experience, is looking for a Kids Club Manager to design, manage and run safe, engaging childcare and youth programs across the park. Reporting to the Head of Guest Experience, you will oversee the daily operations of the Kids Club facility, beach play zones, youth surf camps, themed workshops and seasonal family events.

You will lead a team of childcare attendants and activity leaders, making sure child safety protocols, activity standards, creative programming and warm hospitality are kept at a high level so parents have total peace of mind.

Responsibilities

• Develop, launch and evaluate age-appropriate recreational, educational and creative activity schedules for children aged 3-12.
• Organize and run themed holiday programs, seasonal camps, birthday parties and family weekend events with the Marketing and Events teams.
• Lead key daily sessions on the floor in an energetic and inclusive way.
• Enforce child drop-off and pick-up protocols, attendance logging, identification tags and child safeguarding policies.
• Maintain hygiene, sanitation and safety standards across play equipment and ensure certified first aid response.
• Inspect play areas and equipment daily to remove safety hazards.
• Recruit, onboard, schedule and lead Kids Club attendants, activity hosts and camp counselors.
• Train the team in child development basics, safety protocols, emergency evacuation, conflict resolution and customer service.
• Manage the Kids Club budget and inventory of supplies, toys and equipment.
• Build positive relationships with parents and handle feedback and concerns professionally.
• Coordinate with Guest Services, Lifeguards, Surf Academy, F&B and Marketing teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher diploma in Early Childhood Education, Primary Teaching, Child Development, Recreation Management or a related field.
• Certified Child First Aid, CPR and AED.
• Background check / child safeguarding clearance certificate.
• Fluent in English; Arabic fluency is a strong advantage.
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience managing kids' clubs, youth camps, early childhood centers or resort recreation programs, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Background in activity planning, event management and child safety compliance.
• Strong leadership, team coaching and operational management abilities.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, school holidays and public holidays.
