icddr,b, a Bangladesh-based international health research institute, is hiring two Assistant Medical Technologists under Clinical and Diagnostic Services (Adv#150/2026). Reporting to the Senior Research Officer or Research Officer, the post holder processes biological samples, handles laboratory equipment, performs quality laboratory procedures and sample testing, and keeps documentation within SOP guidelines. The contract is a Short-Term Contractual Service Agreement of 11 months with a possibility of extension subject to funding and performance. দায়িত্ব

• Prepare worksheets, record data and verify reports
• Perform routine laboratory procedures as assigned, following approved SOPs, and keep records
• Operate laboratory analyzers and perform daily maintenance, QC and calibration
• Process samples for testing and sort and organise samples for storage per SOP
• Identify equipment malfunction and notify the supervisor on time
• Prepare in-house reagents and chemicals and perform periodic quality checks
• Maintain stock inventory of consumables and supplies
• Adhere to ISO 15189:2012 and ISO 15190 standards and to biosafety procedures

যোগ্যতা

• Diploma or BSc in Medical Laboratory Technology with good academic records
• At least 3 years of relevant experience, including recent work in a clinical diagnostic laboratory
• Understanding of the laboratory quality management system
• Ability to work in a team, work under pressure and perform roster-basis duty
• Experience in an ISO 15189 accredited laboratory preferred
• Bangladeshi nationals only
