Technical Architect

Job description

Salesforce is looking for a Technical Architect in Riyadh to design and lead the successful delivery of complex Salesforce solutions for customers, covering Salesforce products and APIs, Apex/Visualforce, Lightning, mobile development and integration/ETL technologies.

You are both a big-picture thinker and an in-depth problem solver, designing systems that stand up to high volumes and scale with the customer’s growth plans, with validated experience integrating systems via APIs and a strong development background.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements and deliverables and manage expectations
• Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions on the Salesforce platform
• Lead technical design sessions, document technical solutions and identify gaps between current and desired end states
• Provide oversight and governance of Salesforce projects
• Help define coding standards and lead code reviews
• Handle technical delivery of custom development, integrations and data migration
• Maintain a target billable utilisation aligned to the role
• Take part in pre-sales activities such as discovery sessions, technical deep dives and proof-of-concept development when needed
• Liaise with Salesforce product teams to support client implementations
• Travel to client sites for projects, an estimated 50-75% of the time

Requirements

• Strong CRM experience with a solid background on the Salesforce platform
• Senior leadership expertise
• Expert-level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, Community and Marketing Clouds
• Understanding of systems architecture and the ability to design scalable, performance-driven solutions
• Understanding of key design patterns, large data volume limitations and best practices
• Understanding of data sharing and visibility considerations in platform architecture
• Familiarity with authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth)
• Experience integrating Salesforce with other business systems (ETL, CPQ, marketing automation, reporting)
• Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning and deployment methodologies
• Experience with platform security capabilities (TLS, SSL)
• Strong background in the design and development of large web-based systems or the full software product lifecycle
• Active Salesforce certifications or the ability to achieve relevant certifications on hire
