Data Availability, Senior Specialist

Job description

Master Works is seeking a Senior Specialist, Data Availability to support the effective management, accessibility and availability of organizational data.

The role contributes to data management initiatives, assesses compliance with data requirements and supports projects that improve data accessibility and governance, working closely with business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of data availability and data management practices
• Manage and contribute to projects related to data accessibility, availability and management
• Assess compliance with applicable data management requirements, policies and controls
• Prepare compliance assessments, reports and recommendations for improvement
• Support the development and implementation of data management policies, procedures and standards
• Collaborate with business, IT, data and other stakeholders to identify and address data availability requirements
• Monitor data management activities and support the resolution of data-related issues
• Support data management governance activities and alignment with organizational policies and standards
• Prepare and present reports, updates and recommendations to stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, data management, information systems or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience in data availability, data management, data governance or a related field
• Experience in project management and delivering data-related initiatives
• Practical knowledge of data management principles, processes and practices
• Experience in compliance assessment, monitoring and reporting is preferred
• Strong reporting and analytical skills, with clear communication and stakeholder management
• Certifications such as CDMP, CIPM or CIPT
