Learning & Development Manager

Job description

Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara is looking for a Learning & Development Manager. As Learning Manager you will be a role model for team members. From day one you will be involved in their journey: preparing and monitoring individual development plans, organising training activities and supporting them through learning and development opportunities. You will also advise the property leadership team on how best to improve team members' skills and capabilities to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor individual development plans for team members
• Organise training activities and support team members through learning and development opportunities
• Advise the Property Leadership Team on how to improve team members' skills and capabilities to ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Human Resources or Hotel Management
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in a learning function
• Experience in adult learning or a similar environment
• Experience managing diverse cultures
• Experience in hotel operations is preferred
• Strong facilitation skills and ability to deliver programs and present to an audience
• Strong communication skills in English
• Strong project management and process management, analytical and strategic thinking and decision making
• Detail oriented, with good execution and follow-up
