Job description

Assystem is hiring a Lead Electrical Engineer in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. Lead the electrical engineering team across assigned projects.

Lead the electrical engineering team across assigned projects.
Allocate engineering activities to electrical engineers and designers based on project priorities and competence.
Provide technical direction, mentoring and support to electrical team members.
Review workload and resource requirements and report requirements to management.
Monitor engineering productivity and deliverable progress.
Ensure consistent technical standards and engineering practices are implemented across projects.
Support recruitment, technical interviews and assessment of electrical engineering candidates when required.
Support professional development and competency improvement within the electrical team.
Medium-voltage power distribution.
Low-voltage power distribution.
Utility electrical connections.
Primary and secondary substations.

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from a recognized university.
12–15 years of relevant electrical design experience.
Strong experience in both building and infrastructure electrical design.
Demonstrable experience leading electrical engineering teams.
Significant experience with multidisciplinary engineering consultancy or design organizations.
Experience with Saudi Arabian projects is strongly preferred.
Valid or eligible professional registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers.
Professional Engineer, Chartered Engineer or equivalent international professional registration is advantageous.
