Royal World Group is recruiting an Automotive Auction and Vehicle Evaluation Specialist in Muscat. The specialist oversees vehicle purchasing from major US automotive auctions, particularly Copart and IAAI, assessing damage and condition and estimating market value so purchasing decisions are well informed and profitable.

The role suits someone with strong automotive knowledge and damage assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee vehicle purchasing activities from major US automotive auctions, particularly Copart and IAAI
• Evaluate vehicle condition and damage and estimate repair costs
• Estimate potential resale values and market values to support purchasing decisions

Requirements

• Proven experience in purchasing vehicles from US automotive auctions, particularly Copart and IAAI
• Strong knowledge of vehicle damage assessment and condition evaluation
• Good understanding of automotive mechanics, vehicle specifications and different makes and models
• Ability to estimate vehicle repair costs and evaluate potential resale values
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency in using online auction platforms and automotive valuation tools
• Previous experience in vehicle trading, automotive auctions or the automotive industry is highly preferred
