UNICEF Bangladesh is recruiting a Health Specialist (Child Health & Primary Health Care), NO-3, fixed term, in Dhaka (#00132891). The Health Specialist reports to the Health Manager and provides technical leadership, programme management and coordination support for UNICEF's child health and primary health care portfolio, including strategic planning, implementation, monitoring, partnership engagement and knowledge generation.

The position supports the design, scale-up and evaluation of evidence-based interventions that improve child health outcomes and strengthen primary health care systems. It provides technical assistance to government counterparts and partners, contributes to policy dialogue and advocacy, and makes sure programme interventions are implemented and monitored for sustainable, equitable results for children and families.

যোগ্যতা

• Master's degree in public health, paediatric health, family health, global health, health policy, epidemiology, biostatistics or another relevant field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in public health planning and management and maternal, neonatal, child health and primary health care
• Proficiency in English
• Experience working in Bangladesh or another developing country is an asset
• Experience in a UN agency and in both policy and programme implementation is an advantage
