Talabat is looking for an Assistant Category Manager to join the team and focus on growing its own grocery store, tMart, the region's first cloud store concept offering 30-minute delivery of groceries at hypermarket prices. The service has expanded rapidly across Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman and Iraq. The role calls for a hands-on, detail-oriented category professional who is willing to do whatever the project needs, including working on the warehouse floor or taking customer calls when the team is short-staffed.

• Grow and manage multiple product categories for the tMart grocery store
• Lead cross-functional projects and interact with senior-level executives, managing the expectations of multiple stakeholders
• Support the team operationally when needed, including working on the warehouse floor or taking customer calls to complete a customer delivery

যোগ্যতা

• At least 5+ years of experience in progressive development and management of multiple product categories, gained at large retailers (FMCG) in an international setting
• Experience building teams and leading cross-functional projects at scale
• Detail-oriented and structured, with the ability to prioritize and deliver solutions
• Willing to do anything necessary for the project to succeed
• Ability to interact with senior-level executives and manage the expectations of multiple stakeholders
• Excellent analytical and communication skills and a hands-on approach with several tools
• Robust interpersonal and intercultural skills; able to inspire several teams and stakeholders behind a mission
• Fluent English is mandatory; Arabic can be a plus
