Product Owner, Finance and Supply Chain

OSOS, a technology company building software products and services, is looking for an experienced Product Owner to join its team on-site in Muscat. As Product Owner for Finance and Supply Chain, you will define and prioritise the product backlog for the Finance and Supply Chain software development projects, working with cross-functional teams to deliver products that meet business goals and customer needs.

The role covers product vision and roadmap, requirements gathering, business process mapping, prototyping, stakeholder management and quality assurance through demos and testing, and is a full-time on-site position.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the product vision, goals and strategy, and maintain a detailed product roadmap
• Maintain and prioritise the product backlog in line with business objectives
• Perform gap analysis, reverse engineering or benchmarking as part of product research and discovery
• Gather and clarify requirements with stakeholders; map, model, analyse and document cross-functional business processes (as-is and to-be)
• Prototype and wireframe designs before development, and produce requirement documents such as a traceability matrix
• Prioritise features and user stories by customer need and technical feasibility
• Partner with developers, designers and stakeholders across the development lifecycle
• Communicate progress, manage expectations and run feedback sessions with stakeholders
• Ensure products meet quality standards through demos, testing and feedback
• Track KPIs and give regular updates to stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• In-depth knowledge of Finance and Supply Chain is a must
• ACCA, CIMA or a similar professional qualification
• 5+ years of proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or in a similar role within an Agile environment
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or a similar certification (required/preferred)
• Strong experience in backlog management and stakeholder communication
• Proficiency in Jira for backlog management and reporting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
