Franchise Head - R&I

Job description

AstraZeneca is looking for a Franchise Head for Respiratory and Immunology (R&I) in Riyadh, responsible for marketing and sales of the specified disease area in support of company objectives.

The role leads a team of sales and marketing managers, sets the commercial strategy for the products at AstraZeneca Saudi Arabia and works cross-functionally on brand plans and market access.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for marketing and sales of the specified disease area
• Develop and implement strategies to shape the treatment of diseases in the therapy area
• Lead a team of sales and marketing managers and track brand performance
• Lead the commercial strategy for the specified products at AstraZeneca Saudi Arabia
• Define brand priorities through the cross-functional brand plan process
• Lead cross-functional workflow with a focus on market access opportunities
• Ensure effective product communication, promotional support and implementation of the marketing plan
• Run market analysis and monitor product perception
• Drive innovation and digitalization across marketing channels
• Maintain relationships with KOLs and HCOs in line with global guidance

Requirements

• People management and leadership skills
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a franchise manager or equivalent combined sales and marketing role in a multinational pharmaceutical company
• Sales and marketing experience in Respiratory and Immunology preferred, or another relevant specialty
• Launch experience is a must
• Pharmacy or medical background is a must
• MBA degree is an asset
