Kingdom University (KU) is a licensed and accredited private university in the Kingdom of Bahrain, located at its Riffa campus. The College of Law is seeking a full-time Associate Professor / Professor in Commercial Law. The teaching language is English / bilingual. The applicant's academic rank must not be lower than Associate Professor, supported by an approved written promotion letter.

Responsibilities

• Teach Commercial Law courses in English at the College of Law.
• Communicate effectively with students and colleagues.

Requirements

• PhD in Commercial Law.
• Academic rank not lower than Associate Professor, conditioned on an approved written promotion letter.
• Minimum 5 years of experience teaching Commercial Law courses in English.
• Industrial experience practicing Commercial Law (outside the academic field).
• Effective communication skills with students and colleagues.
• Administrative experience within higher education is an advantage.
• Documents to submit: copy of passport, copy of CPR (in case of Bahraini residence), updated CV with listed publications, written and approved promotion letter, positive Quadrabay report where applicable, experience letters.
