Part-Time Lecturer in Engineering and Design

Job description

Kingdom University (KU) is a licensed and accredited private university in the Kingdom of Bahrain, located at its Riffa campus. The College of Engineering and Design is recruiting a part-time Lecturer / Assistant or Associate Professor in any of the following majors: Architectural Engineering, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Structural Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in the applicant's major part-time.
• Use engineering software in teaching, where applicable.

Requirements

• Masters or PhD in any of: Architectural Engineering, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Structural Engineering.
• English language fluency.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse and multinational cultures.
• Relevant academic and industry experience is required.
• Professional certifications are preferred, where applicable.
• Proficiency in using and teaching engineering software, where applicable.
• Prior teaching experience in higher education is considered an advantage.
