Associate Analyst, Business Development

Job description

Mastercard's 18-month Launch Program builds specialised expertise through hands-on projects, structured learning and mentoring from industry leaders. This Associate Analyst role sits in Services Business Development, the team that identifies, shapes and commercialises opportunities across Mastercard Services and manages the Services P&L.

The analyst supports the team in identifying and advancing business opportunities across key customers and sectors. The role suits a recent graduate who enjoys analytical problem-solving, working with data and collaborating across teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market, customer and competitive research to identify growth opportunities
• Support the development of client proposals, presentations and business cases
• Analyse sales pipeline, revenue performance and business metrics to produce insights and recommendations
• Assist with opportunity tracking, forecasting and reporting
• Coordinate with stakeholders across Sales, Product, Consulting, Finance and Delivery teams
• Prepare materials for customer meetings, business reviews and leadership updates
• Contribute to strategic initiatives that grow Mastercard's Services business
• Build a strong understanding of the payments ecosystem, financial services and Mastercard products

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree with an anticipated graduation between June 2026 and August 2027
• Available to start on 1 September 2027
