Revenue Controller / Revenue Accountant

Bahrain Surf Park needs a Revenue Controller to safeguard, monitor and accurately report all revenue streams across surf operations, F&B, retail, memberships, events and sponsorships. The role ensures revenue completeness, IFRS and VAT compliance, prevention of revenue leakage and timely management reporting. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will audit daily settlement flows, verify deferred revenue, monitor system overrides and work with operational teams to protect company turnover.

• Reconcile POS terminals, ticketing software, online booking engines, cash collections, card settlements and bank deposits every day
• Audit daily income from all park channels to confirm complete revenue capture
• Verify credit card gateway settlements, payment aggregator reports and e-wallet clearing against bank statements
• Audit discounts, refunds, voids, complimentary transactions, price adjustments and manager overrides
• Investigate revenue discrepancies and unauthorised rate changes and implement corrective action
• Recognise revenue in line with IFRS 15 and manage deferred revenue schedules for memberships, packages and gift vouchers
• Reconcile advance guest deposits for corporate events, group bookings and cabana rentals
• Compile daily, weekly and monthly revenue reports and variance analysis against budget and forecast
• Prepare revenue journal entries and month-end balance sheet reconciliations, and review sales transactions for correct VAT
• Act as main contact for auditors on revenue streams and recommend improvements to POS workflows and cash-up protocols

যোগ্যতা

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
• Minimum 3 years of experience in revenue accounting, revenue control or financial analysis
• Background in hospitality, entertainment, leisure, tourism or multi-outlet commercial environments
• Track record in multi-channel POS reconciliation, deferred revenue schedules and IFRS revenue recognition
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, ERP systems (Zoho Books/Finance a strong advantage) and POS/ticketing platforms
• Fluent English; Arabic fluency is a strong advantage
• Professional accounting credential (ACCA, CPA, CMA) is a strong advantage
