Bahrain Surf Park is hiring a Financial Accountant to maintain accurate accounting records, prepare financial statements and supporting schedules, manage reconciliations, ensure VAT and IFRS compliance, support audits and provide financial analysis across all park operations. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will oversee the full-cycle accounting process, ledger integrity, payables and receivables and fixed asset accounting in line with Kingdom of Bahrain tax rules, IFRS and company policy.

দায়িত্ব

• Maintain, post and reconcile general ledger accounts and master accounting records
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements with supporting schedules
• Prepare monthly journal entries, accruals, prepayments, deferred costs and depreciation charges
• Provide financial analysis and expense trend reviews across park departments
• Monitor accounts payable ageing, vendor invoicing, customer billing and receivables collections
• Reconcile supplier statements to ledger balances and audit supplier invoices against purchase orders before payment
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, calculate monthly depreciation and coordinate physical asset checks
• Ensure compliance with Bahrain VAT law, reconcile input and output tax and prepare VAT returns for the National Bureau for Revenue
• Support tax queries and audits with complete documentation
• Enforce internal controls and segregation of duties, and coordinate internal and external audits
• Identify financial risks and control gaps and recommend process improvements

যোগ্যতা

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional core accounting experience
• Experience in hospitality, leisure, tourism or entertainment is highly preferred
• Background in general ledger maintenance, fixed asset tracking, VAT filings and IFRS financial statement preparation
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP accounting systems (Zoho Books/Finance preferred)
• Practical knowledge of IFRS and Kingdom of Bahrain VAT regulations
• Fluent English; Arabic fluency is a strong advantage
• Professional accounting credential (ACCA, CPA, CMA or CIMA) preferred
