Sky City Hotel is looking for a commercially sharp, principled Purchasing Executive to take ownership of procurement across the property. The role is for someone who treats every taka spent as if it were their own: sourcing competitively, documenting value, and holding the line on fair, transparent buying. The Purchasing Executive works closely with Finance, Operations and department heads (F&B, Housekeeping, Engineering).

Salary range BDT 15,000-20,000, with benefits, meals and a growth path.

দায়িত্ব

• Run day-to-day purchasing across food & beverage, housekeeping, engineering and general supplies, keeping the hotel stocked without over-ordering or tying up cash
• Operate the inventory management system accurately: purchase orders, goods receipt, stock levels, reorder points and reporting
• Source the best available prices through a competitive, multi-quote approach and maintain an approved supplier base reviewed on merit
• Evidence value for money: benchmark prices, document comparisons and produce clear reporting that shows the hotel is getting the best deal
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times and service levels with suppliers, and manage supplier performance
• Apply procurement controls consistently: competitive quotes, conflict-of-interest declarations and a clean audit trail for every significant purchase
• Flag risks and escalate issues through the proper governance channels, independently and without fear or favour

যোগ্যতা

• Proven procurement / purchasing experience, ideally in hospitality, F&B, retail or a comparable high-volume environment
• Strong hands-on command of inventory / procurement software (e.g. Zoho)
• A genuine negotiator, able to secure better terms while keeping supplier relationships professional and sustainable
• Analytical and numerate: able to build price comparisons, track spend and demonstrate savings with evidence
• High personal integrity and independence of judgement: buys on price, quality and terms, not on existing relationships
• Organised, detail-focused and comfortable being accountable for a clean audit trail
• Fluent in Bangla and working English
• Nice to have: experience setting up or tightening procurement policies and supplier approval processes
• Nice to have: familiarity with hotel cost controls and GOP / cost-percentage targets
