Hitachi Energy is hiring a Project Manager Engineering (Project Lead Engineer) in Kuwait City to coordinate engineering activities for GIS and AIS utility substation projects and tenders across the region.

দায়িত্ব

• Coordinate project engineering activities, including preparation and review of project engineering deliverables, monitoring of contractual scope, and variation and change order initiation
• Hold technical discussions and liaise with all stakeholders on technical matters, and monitor engineering effort for projects and tenders
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines on substation projects and tenders
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for scheduled progress of projects and tenders
• Review equipment specifications and BOQs for supplier enquiries, review technical offers, and monitor and coordinate supplier deliverables, including resolving technical issues during FAT
• Follow engineering processes, change management, and risk and opportunities management processes during project execution and tendering
• Coordinate with the customer or consultant for document approvals as per the project schedule
• Coordinate with the site team on technical matters during installation, testing and commissioning, and punch point closure

যোগ্যতা

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
• Minimum 14 years of work experience, of which 6-8 years in a lead role is preferred
• Thorough domain expertise in primary or secondary substation engineering, with knowledge of the other domains
• Experience in design and engineering of utility substation projects in the region in a lead role, with exposure to 11kV/33kV/132kV/220kV/400kV GIS and AIS projects
• Primary engineering of GIS and AIS substations: layouts, earthing, cabling, lightning protection, sizing calculations, BOQ estimation, RFQ, supplier offer verification, FAT, MV system
• Secondary engineering of GIS and AIS substations: protection, relay panels, LCCs, SCADA/RTU/SCMS, telecom, control cabling, CT/VT sizing
• Engineering of substation auxiliaries: LV AC boards, auxiliary and earthing transformers, DC systems, UPS, security systems, CCTV, access control
• Experience coordinating with civil and MEP disciplines, and preparing BOQs, deviation lists, clarifications and technical proposals for tenders
• Understanding of installation, testing and commissioning requirements
• Experience of project engineering for major utilities in the region
