Hitachi Energy is hiring a GIS I&C Engineer in Dammam, Eastern Region. The role covers all activities needed to get switching systems installed, repaired and any faults eliminated, including installation of high-voltage systems for the PGHV business. The engineer represents Hitachi Energy at the installation site in dealings with the client, keeps to project deadlines with the cost-performance ratio in mind, and ensures installation and commissioning work is carried out in perfect technical order.

• Carry out installation and maintenance work independently.
• Ensure compliance with installation requirements and instructions, and that accident prevention measures are observed, including the guidelines for work on live system components.
• Maintain red-mark drawings and documents with any changes made during installation.
• Advise the sub-supplier's installation superintendent in planning and coordinating the workforce needed to meet the schedule.
• Cooperate with the project manager on the status of completed and outstanding work.
• Inspect arriving material for completeness and damage, and issue non-conformance reports for damaged or missing equipment.
• Supervise final installation and commissioning tests and the installation completion documentation.
• Supervise and coordinate loop check activities and attend site meetings as requested.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines, and live Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity.

যোগ্যতা

• A bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience with GIS is preferred.
• Previous experience with SF6 gas handling and PGHV transmission and sub-transmission GIS product knowledge preferred.
• Ability to use MS Project professionally.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
