The Welder at GE Vernova in Dammam supports welding, blending and repair operations on gas turbine components in line with approved work instructions, process specifications, engineering requirements and quality standards, making sure welding is done safely, accurately and consistently to support production and repair goals.

As well as welding with a high level of skill and workmanship, the welder is expected to show strong Lean behaviours, support problem solving, maintain 5S standards and contribute to continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery and productivity across the line. Relocation assistance is not provided.

দায়িত্ব

• Perform welding operations according to approved work instructions, process specifications and engineering requirements
• Prepare parts, surfaces and welding equipment for proper setup and process execution
• Read and interpret work instructions, welding procedures, technical documentation and engineering drawings
• Set up, operate and monitor welding equipment safely and effectively
• Inspect parts before, during and after welding to confirm conformance to quality requirements
• Record and maintain accurate process and production data
• Identify welding defects, nonconforming conditions or process abnormalities and escalate them
• Support repair and rework activities in line with approved procedures and quality standards
• Follow Standard Work and Standard Work Combination Sheets and keep the work area to 5S standards
• Identify and communicate improvement opportunities in safety, quality, cycle time, flow and waste reduction
• Work within takt time and standard process flow to support production goals
• Use shop floor systems such as ELM, SmartShop and MyAndon as required

যোগ্যতা

• Diploma, technical college degree, welding certification or equivalent hands-on experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in welding, repair welding or related industrial manufacturing operations
• Desired: minimum 2 years of experience welding gas turbine components or other precision aerospace/industrial parts
