Carrier is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Senior Chiller Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and overhaul of HVAC and chiller systems. The successful candidate will ensure reliable equipment performance, high-quality service delivery and compliance with company procedures, manufacturer guidelines and Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) requirements.

The role requires strong technical expertise in chiller systems, effective communication with customers, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively to deliver excellent service.

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and overhaul of chillers and associated HVAC equipment in line with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards
• Inspect air-conditioning and chiller systems, diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and recommend corrective actions
• Maintain, adjust and repair electrical and electronic control systems, motors, pumps, blowers, coils, belts and other components
• Repair or replace damaged parts so equipment operates efficiently and reliably
• Conduct site inspections and prepare technical reports covering site conditions, scope of work, findings and recommendations
• Estimate labour hours, materials and tools required for assigned jobs
• Complete job cards, completion certificates, timesheets, maintenance records and EH&S site survey documentation accurately and on time
• Communicate with customers on the nature and progress of work, outstanding issues and recommended improvements
• Identify safety risks and apply control measures before and during work
• Safely rig and set up gantries and lifting equipment for handling heavy machinery such as chillers and pumps
• Manage and maintain tools and equipment, including inventory control where applicable
• Escalate technical issues, safety concerns and resource needs to the Supervisor or Manager when necessary
• Attend technical training sessions, EH&S meetings and other assigned training programmes

যোগ্যতা

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or a related technical field
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in HVAC service, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair
• Hands-on experience servicing and maintaining chiller systems is essential
• Practical knowledge of DX systems, airside equipment and reciprocating, screw and scroll chillers
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, equipment controls and basic building automation systems
• Understanding of EH&S requirements, hazard identification, risk assessment and MSDS/SDS
• Basic computer skills and ability to use mobile apps for work orders and service reports
• Good English communication skills (speaking, reading, writing and listening)
• A valid driving licence is an advantage
