Specialist, QA

Job description

Centric Brands is hiring a Specialist, QA who is based in Chittagong for Knit, Woven (including jackets), Denim, Sweater and Intimate products. The specialist drives quality assurance across the production lifecycle and works with partner factories on process control, risk assessment and corrective actions. Preferred brand experience includes Tommy, CK, Walmart, GAP, Dickies, Dockers, Esprit, Guess, Hudson Jeans, Izod, Lucky, Nautica and Off White.

Responsibilities

• Drive quality assurance through the production lifecycle with preventive quality measures and stronger factory capability
• Apply production process control, root cause analysis and problem solving to build quality upstream and prevent defects
• Support quality control and inspection activities and run risk assessments during PPM and line reviews with factories
• Train vendor and factory teams on customer requirements and quality standards and share case studies for continuous improvement
• Follow up on Corrective Action Plan implementation and evaluate the results
• Track production status and T&A (WIP) to spot risks and make sure the factory is ready for QA activities
• Monitor factory daily operations, including compliance issues and the internal quality control system (sharp tool control, needle detection)

Requirements

• Based in Chittagong
• 7 to 10 years of working experience in Knit, Woven (including jackets), Denim, Sweater, Intimate
• Good knowledge of the Garments Manufacturing Process (GMP)
• Able to handle the full QA process from fabric to shipment independently
• Good knowledge of QMS processes and quality assurance, and of technical solutions
• Bachelor's degree or technical college diploma
• Good written English to read documents and issue reports
• Travel as required
• Brand experience preferred (Tommy, CK, Walmart, GAP, Dickies, Dockers, Esprit, Guess, Hudson Jeans, Izod, Lucky, Nautica, Off White)
