Job description

DHL Global Forwarding (DGF) Bangladesh is hiring an Executive, Ocean Freight in Dhaka. DGF Ocean Freight offers full-container load (FCL), less-than-container load (LCL) and combined sea, air, road or rail solutions across worldwide trade lanes. The executive administers import plans, keeps import and export operations running smoothly, prepares documentation with the relevant authorities, advises customers on import processes and ensures compliance with corporate guidelines and policies.

Responsibilities

• Follow up daily customer-wise reports for accuracy and timely completion
• Generate invoices on time and coordinate follow-up actions
• Execute customer-specific requirements in the prescribed formats
• Monitor transshipment connections and update customers promptly on changes
• Collaborate with team members to support customer needs and operational requirements
• Prepare daily reports to improve customer data visibility and transparency
• Correct operational documents and support the network team in a timely manner

Requirements

• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Good command of MS Excel, reporting tools and documentation
• Detail-oriented with a strong customer-service mindset
• Able to work with cross-functional teams
