Senior Service Engineer

Job description

ABB is hiring a Senior Service Engineer for its Automation Business Area, Process Industries Division, Metals & Power Conversion Business Line, working primarily in Saudi Arabia and extending to the GCC region. The main stakeholders are metals, chemical and other process industries, and the role reports to the ME Operation Manager.

You will coordinate aspects of projects and support Project Managers in the management and execution of project activities, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery. The work model is hybrid, split between site and the ABB office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high power rectifier, electrical, control and automation projects and services
• Conduct analysis of plan versus actual project performance
• Monitor, control and release requests for invoicing
• Control documentation accuracy and consistency based on assigned tasks and procedures agreed with the customer
• Review project plans and ensure site safety and integrity topics are addressed before the project starts
• Prepare BOMs and coordinate with SCM
• Carry out FAT and SAT

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in high power rectifier, electrical, control and automation projects and services
• Experience in the process industries sector
• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or Control Engineering
• Commitment to implementing high quality projects and services
• At ease communicating in English / Arabic
