Senior Project Manager - Fit Out & Supervision

AECOM is hiring a Senior Project Manager for fit out and supervision work. The role manages a portfolio of clients with multiple fit out and supervision projects, ensuring technical excellence and engineering compliance throughout execution, and delivers revenue from specific clients through repeat business generated by flawless project execution and superior site supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients with multiple fit out and supervision projects
• Deliver assigned revenues from specific clients through repeat business generated by strong project execution and site supervision
• Consistently deliver planned profit margins while maintaining quality standards and engineering specifications
• Complete projects without write-downs or multiplier erosion, with attention to fit out scope and supervision requirements
• Oversee more complex clients and fit out projects, providing on-site supervision and engineering oversight to ensure compliance with design specifications and building codes
• Direct other Project Managers in identifying risk and uncertainty and developing mitigation strategies for fit out and supervision activities
• Minimise exposure to claims through rigorous site supervision, quality control and adherence to engineering standards
• Supervise and mentor Project Managers overseeing multiple fit out projects or program portfolios

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of progressive project management experience in fit out, supervision and construction delivery
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related engineering discipline
• Demonstrated expertise in managing complex fit out and supervision projects with technical and engineering complexities
• Proven track record of delivering projects within planned profit margins while maintaining quality standards and engineering specifications
• Strong knowledge of building codes, design specifications and engineering compliance requirements
• Extensive experience in on-site supervision and engineering oversight
• Proven leadership experience mentoring and directing Project Managers across multiple project portfolios
• Advanced risk identification and mitigation expertise, particularly with Risk Triggering Factors (RTF) in construction environments
• Demonstrated ability to minimise claims exposure through rigorous quality control and site management
• Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
• Preferred: Advanced degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Business Administration
• Preferred: Experience managing large-scale client portfolios with repeat business generation
