Lead Estimator

Job description

KBR is hiring a Lead Estimator in Al Khobar to lead the preparation of classified estimates during project development stages for major oil and gas and pipeline engineering, procurement and construction projects. Nationality is open to any applicant, with Saudi nationality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of classified estimates during project development stages
• Prepare and manage estimate plans using the WBS process for the cost breakdown structure
• Prepare and review cost estimate basis (productivity factor, all-in rates, material, construction)
• Lead and coordinate with project teams to develop all requirements needed for the TIC estimate
• Review, validate and present cost estimate reports to management and clients
• Provide guidance and mentoring to estimators and ensure estimating best practices are followed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 10 to 20 years' experience in project cost estimation for engineering, procurement and construction of major oil and gas/pipeline projects
• Knowledge of Aspen Capital Cost Estimator (Advantage)
• Familiarity with SAEP-25
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel
