Senior Frontend Developer React / Next.js

Job description

Rebel Force builds digital products for clients in the US and around the world and is hiring a remote, full-time Senior Frontend Developer who writes excellent code and communicates clearly with clients, product managers and teammates. The role works directly with US-based clients and requires overlap with US time zones (EST/PST). Strong spoken and written English is the most important requirement. Applicants email their CV, portfolio or GitHub and a short introduction, and include a 2 to 3 minute English video answering the prompts in the posting, shared as a Google Drive link set to viewable by everyone.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain fast, scalable, responsive web applications using React and Next.js
• Talk directly with US clients and stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify scope and present progress
• Turn business needs and designs (Figma and similar) into clean, accessible UIs
• Own frontend architecture decisions: state management, component design, performance and SEO
• Work with backend developers on API contracts and integration
• Review code, mentor junior developers and help set frontend best practices
• Share clear written updates, documentation and estimates
• Join daily standups, sprint planning and client meetings during US business hours

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience
• Strong expertise in React.js and Next.js (SSR, SSG, App Router, API routes)
• Solid command of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
• Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, React Query or similar)
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows and code review practices
• Understanding of web performance, accessibility and SEO best practices
• Excellent verbal and written English, comfortable leading client calls
• Willing and able to work consistently during US hours
