Senior Field Service Specialist, Chemical Processing

Job description

Pall Corporation, a Danaher Life Sciences company, is hiring a Senior Field Service Specialist based in Kuwait with periodic missions across other GCC countries. The role independently carries out contamination and filtration technology assessment surveys and supports customer rental orders in industrial process environments, mainly for Oil and Gas, Refinery, Polymer and Chemical customers.

It is a highly field-based technical job, with roughly 70 to 80 percent of time at customer sites and 20 to 30 percent in the office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct contamination assessment surveys and identify process bottlenecks or production issues
• Prepare field activity documentation such as work protocols, JSA and HIP and related safety and process documents
• Perform contamination sampling and analysis campaigns at customer locations and laboratory analysis on collected samples
• Define technical service scope and required field resources, and review technical elements of commercial proposals when required
• Attend customer kick-off meetings and execute field activities
• Produce daily field reports and final technical campaign reports with recommendations on contamination sources and improvements
• Evaluate and size suitable Pall filtration and separation solutions for customer process conditions
• Visit sites to collect installation and commissioning data, and supervise installation, commissioning and start-up of rental units
• Monitor job progress, troubleshoot Pall products and systems at customer sites, and prepare final job reports

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical, Process or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent relevant industry experience
• Strong exposure to Oil and Gas, Refinery, Chemical or Polymer processes
• Experience in filtration, separation, contamination control, process troubleshooting or field technical service is highly valuable
• Strong customer-facing communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, written and spoken
• Valid driving license
• Valid passport with the ability to travel across GCC countries without restrictions
