Job description

Archirodon, an international EPC contractor, is seeking two Civil Foremen for piling works on its newly awarded offshore oil and gas project in Kuwait. The foreman supervises field personnel, applies good construction safety practice and keeps all on-site activities running smoothly and well organized, staying in close contact with the supervision and project management teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise offshore piling activities safely and on schedule
• Prepare daily and weekly work plans for offshore pile driving operations
• Coordinate offshore piling rigs, cranes, barges, hammers and lifting equipment
• Monitor work progress, manpower, equipment performance and material usage
• Conduct inspections and quality checks for pile alignment, depth and verticality
• Coordinate with offshore engineers, section heads, marine crew, QA/QC and HSE teams
• Supervise piling crews, rig operators and offshore workers
• Provide technical guidance, toolbox talks and safety training to the workforce
• Ensure compliance with offshore HSE rules, lifting procedures and permit systems

Requirements

• Minimum Higher Secondary School certificate; a diploma in Civil or Geological Engineering is preferable
• Minimum 10 years of experience in offshore piling works and projects
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings and to prepare site demands for manpower, equipment, tools and materials for piling works
• English speaking and writing skills are essential
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Previous GCC offshore project experience with an EPC or heavy industrial construction company, preferably in marine infrastructure, is preferred
