Quality Inspector

Job description

GE Vernova is hiring a Quality Inspector in Dammam to support quality control activities on gas turbine components, including in-process inspection, final inspection, final report creation and packing inspection. The role ensures product quality requirements are met through manufacturing and final preparation in line with approved work instructions, specifications, engineering requirements and quality standards.

Alongside accurate inspection work, the role is expected to demonstrate strong Lean behaviors: supporting problem solving, maintaining 5S standards, contributing to root cause analysis, raising quality concerns and NCRs, and helping improve process flow and operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspection according to approved work instructions, quality plans and process requirements
• Review and verify final reports for completeness, accuracy and compliance
• Raise and escalate quality concerns that may affect product quality, process compliance or customer requirements
• Initiate and support Non-Conformance Report (NCR) activities
• Contribute to root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Read and interpret work instructions, technical documentation, specifications and engineering drawings
• Record and maintain accurate inspection results and documentation
• Use inspection tools, gauges and measuring devices safely and effectively
• Follow standard work, work within takt and cycle time, and maintain 5S standards
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities in safety, quality, cycle time, flow and waste reduction
• Use shop floor systems such as ELM, SmartShop and MyAndon

Requirements

• Diploma, technical college degree or equivalent hands-on experience
• Knowledge or experience in welding quality inspection
• Desired: minimum 2 years of experience with gas turbine components or other precision aerospace/industrial parts
• Desired: NDT license
