OT Cyber Security Engineer

Job description

Mekdam Technical Services is hiring an OT Cyber Security Engineer in Doha. The role calls for an engineer with oil and gas experience who understands operational technology environments, OT infrastructure communication and protocols, and OT cyber security solutions, and who can solve issues associated with OT cyber security design and sustainment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in automation and control systems, industrial control systems, cyber security or computer science engineering
• 4 years' experience in engineering in an oil and gas environment
• Understanding of operational technology environments such as DCS, SIS, metering, machinery monitoring/controls systems and instrument asset management systems
• Understanding of OT infrastructure communication and protocols
• Knowledge of OT cyber security infrastructure and solutions such as Endpoint Protection Platforms, industrial networks and boundary protection, OT IDS, SIEM, authentication and access control
• Familiar with industry regulations and standards for OT cyber security such as IEC, ISA, NIST and ISO
• Fluent in English, verbal and written
• Computer literate and knowledgeable in relevant software tools and specifications
