AI Lead / Project Manager

Job description

Mekdam Technical Services is hiring an AI Lead / Project Manager (Emerging Technology) in Doha. The role leads and delivers strategic emerging-technology and digital transformation projects, linking business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors and senior management to deliver measurable business value.

It also evaluates new technologies, leads pilots and proofs-of-concept, and develops implementation roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery, defining scope, milestones, budgets and success criteria
• Maintain plans, RAID logs and governance documents, manage change control and mitigate risks
• Assess emerging technologies including AI / GenAI, ML, Automation, IoT, Analytics, Cloud and Digital Twins for feasibility, security, cost and ROI
• Lead proofs-of-concept and pilots and translate capabilities into use cases, roadmaps and adoption plans
• Develop business cases and prioritize initiatives by value, feasibility and risk
• Coordinate across business, IT, operations, PMO, procurement, finance, legal and cybersecurity
• Coordinate vendors and consultants, define requirements and acceptance criteria and monitor performance
• Ensure policy and regulatory compliance and manage technology, cyber, data and financial risks
• Lead change, readiness, communications and training, and monitor adoption and benefits
• Prepare project and portfolio reports and executive presentations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Digital Transformation or a related field
• More than 5 and up to 8 years of related experience
• Significant project/program management, technology delivery, digital transformation or innovation experience
• Strong grasp of PM methodologies, governance, risk and change management
• Experience coordinating teams, vendors and senior stakeholders
• Business and technology acumen, translating technical concepts into business outcomes
