Aalok Healthcare & Hospital is hiring a Medical Technologist - X Ray (Hospital) (Dhaka (Mirpur 6)). See the responsibilities and requirements below for what the employer is looking for.

Responsibilities

• Imaging Procedures: Operating X-ray equipment to take clear, diagnostic radiographic images of bones, tissues, and organs as requested by physicians.
• Patient Positioning: Properly positioning patients and the X-ray equipment for optimal image acquisition while ensuring patient comfort.
• Radiation Safety: Strictly following all radiation safety protocols to limit exposure for patients and staff, often using lead shields.
• Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and complete patient records related to imaging procedures and results.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring that X-ray equipment is regularly checked, serviced, and in good working order, and promptly reporting any malfunctions.
• Collaboration: Working with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and effective patient care and to determine if further testing is needed.
• Patient Communication: Explaining the procedure to patients, answering questions, and ensuring informed consent where necessary (especially for procedures involving contrast medium).
• Any assigned duty by Management.

Requirements

• Diploma in Medical Technology
• At least 1 year
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital
• Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
• Age At least 20 years
• Basic Computer skillStrong understanding of Medical/Diagnostic terminologyGood patient handling and customer service skillsShifting duty as per rosterGood Communication.Strong attention to the patient.
