Laundry General Manager

Job description

Al Hattab Holding is hiring a Laundry General Manager in Doha. The role is responsible for running the business and its day-to-day operations, and for delivering an excellent client experience within the industry. It also covers selecting laundry equipment, supervising installation and commissioning of machines, and leading sales and marketing for the business.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize laundry projects, including selection of new equipment and project reports
• Supervise erection, installation and commissioning of laundry machines
• Develop long-term account strategy and relationships with decision makers
• Develop and put into operation systems and technical advancement in laundry operations
• Oversee the laundry facility to ensure smooth operations
• Monitor supplies and inventory, and maintain productivity and safety
• Promote and sell services within all regions
• Prepare the annual laundry budget and record and monitor laundry cost
• Develop new methods for increasing laundry efficiency
• Direct all laundry staff and schedules
• Direct and manage a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy
• Build and maintain strong relationships with targeted clients
• Meet or exceed new and retention sales volume goals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Tourism Management or related qualifications
• At least 10 years in the relevant field of laundry business
• Previous experience as laundry manager in a pre-opening hotel is essential
• Awareness of all laundry machines, industry updates, technical and operational duties
• Advanced managerial, sales, marketing and strategic prospecting skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong customer service, interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Time management and reporting skills
