General Technician

Job description

ibis Seef Manama is hiring a General Technician. The role covers inspecting and maintaining the property's facilities and equipment, checking all areas for safety issues and taking immediate corrective action, and performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain the property's facilities and equipment so guests have a safe and functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on the property's facilities and equipment
• Inspect all areas of the property for safety issues and take immediate corrective action
• Assist guests regarding property facilities in an informative and helpful way
• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain the property's facilities and equipment

Requirements

• Technical support and maintenance background is mandatory
• Relevant building maintenance experience is an asset in the hotel industry, at least a 4- or 5-star hotel
• At least 1 year of hotel industry experience
• AC maintenance experience preferred (not mandatory)
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Highly responsible and reliable
