This listing is the Steno-typist cum Computer Operator post (Grade-14, Tk 23,500-56,800, 16 vacancies). Selection is by written test, practical test and viva.

দায়িত্ব

• Take shorthand dictation and transcribe it in English and Bangla
• Operate the computer for typing, word processing, e-mail and fax
• Prepare and type official letters, notes and reports for the Commissioner's office

যোগ্যতা

• Bachelor degree or equivalent with at least second class or equivalent CGPA from a recognised university in any subject
• Shorthand speed of at least 70 words per minute in English and 45 in Bangla
• Computer typing speed of at least 30 words per minute in English and 25 in Bangla
• Age must be between 18 and 32 years as on 01/10/2026; an affidavit is not accepted as proof of age
• Only permanent residents of Dhaka Metropolitan city and Dhaka district can apply
• Serving government, semi-government and autonomous body employees must apply through proper authority; Tax Department employees must select the Departmental Candidate option; all serving candidates must submit an original No Objection Certificate at the viva
• Not a citizen, married to a non-citizen or committed to marry one, non-domiciled, or convicted by a criminal court for moral turpitude: not eligible
• A candidate may apply for only one post
