icddr,b is recruiting Senior Technical Assistants (Adv#147/2026) for the "Respiratory microbiome and viral surveillance Evaluation project" under its Centre for Climate-Change and Health (iCCH), implemented in the Chakaria HDSS area. The project strengthens the iCCH research platform for investigating respiratory microbiomes and viral infections.

The Senior Technical Assistant reports to the Assistant Scientist and supports laboratory research activities at the Chakaria Laboratory, Cox's Bazar, within the research protocol and icddr,b guidelines. This is a 6-month short-term contract with a possibility of extension subject to funds and performance. Only short-listed candidates will be invited for a written test/interview at the Chakaria Field Office. icddr,b does not charge any fee at any stage of recruitment.

দায়িত্ব

• Clean, wash and dry all lab wares following the lab SOP manual
• Maintain and regulate temperature for cleaning and washing lab supplies and equipment
• Store lab wares for easy retrieval; clean and dry ovens, refrigerators and shelves
• Keep lab working areas clean to ensure quality of laboratory activities
• Help transport lab supplies, reagents and other items as required
• Prepare acids and solutions used for washing laboratory wares
• Receive samples in the lab on time
• Process primary specimens of laboratory tests
• Provide inputs to the office manager for smooth lab operations

যোগ্যতা

• Minimum HSC or Diploma in Medical Technology
• 3 years of experience in relevant laboratory work
