Senior ND Technician - MFL & Advanced Tube Inspection

SGS is seeking a highly experienced Non-Destructive Testing technician in Doha with over ten years of hands-on expertise in Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL) tank inspection and advanced tube inspection. The ideal candidate has a strong background in IRIS, ECT, RFT, MFL and Eddy Current Array technologies and a record of delivering high-quality inspection services in industrial environments.

• Perform MFL inspections on storage tanks and pipelines
• Conduct tube inspections using IRIS, ECT, RFT and ECA techniques
• Analyse and interpret inspection data to identify defects and anomalies
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Maintain and calibrate NDT equipment regularly
• Collaborate with engineering and QA/QC teams to support maintenance and integrity programs
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and inspection procedures

যোগ্যতা

• Minimum 10 years of experience in NDT, specialising in MFL and tube inspection
• Certified in relevant NDT methods (ASNT, PCN or ISO 9712 preferred)
• Strong understanding of inspection standards and codes (API, ASME, ASTM)
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting software
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and lead inspection teams when required
• Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical or power generation sectors
• IRATA certification or rope access experience is a plus
