KBR is hiring a Rigging Supervisor (Rigger II Lead) for a site in Qatar. The supervisor leads rigging work on heavy equipment, large pipes and control valves lifted with cranes of up to 500 tonnes, making sure loads are assessed correctly and moved safely.

The role sits with KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS), which supports clients across the whole asset life cycle with licensed process technologies, advisory services, technical expertise and solutions for planned and operating assets.

দায়িত্ব

• Check loads to be moved and estimate size, shape, weight and centre of gravity so crane capacities are not exceeded
• Attach lifting devices to hoisting equipment and loads using clamps, hooks, bolts and knots
• Select the right slings, lifting gear and grappling devices, padding sharp corners to protect slings
• Watch for people or objects in the path of the load and signal crane or winch operators by hand signals, whistle or radio
• Guide loads into position as they are lowered
• Lift and move heavy equipment, large pipes and control valves with cranes of up to 500T

যোগ্যতা

• Secondary (12 years) certificate; ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certificate preferred
• 7 years of hands-on experience in oil and gas, petrochemical or fertilizer industry
• Valid rigging certificate from a competent, certified agency
