KBR is hiring a Scaffolding and Painting Technical Professional for a project in Qatar. The role plans, coordinates and oversees all scaffolding, surface preparation, blasting, painting, coating and corrosion protection activities, making sure the work is done safely, efficiently and in line with project specifications, international standards, client requirements and KBR quality procedures.

দায়িত্ব

• Review and monitor scaffolding requirements for construction, maintenance and shutdown work
• Make sure scaffolding design, erection, modification, inspection and dismantling meet project and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with construction, maintenance and HSE teams on safe access
• Verify scaffolding materials and equipment meet specifications and inspect sites for unsafe conditions
• Supervise surface preparation, including abrasive blasting and cleaning
• Monitor protective coatings, industrial painting and corrosion control systems
• Review painting and coating inspection reports and coordinate repairs and touch-ups
• Review method statements, risk assessments and work procedures for scaffolding and painting
• Coordinate with QA/QC inspectors and client representatives during inspections and audits
• Promote safety culture, take part in toolbox talks and risk assessments and support incident investigations
• Coordinate manpower, equipment and materials and report progress to management

যোগ্যতা

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in scaffolding, painting, coating and corrosion protection in oil and gas, petrochemical, LNG, refinery or EPC projects
• Experience on large industrial projects in the Middle East is preferred
• Familiarity with QatarEnergy, LNG or similar client projects is an advantage
• Knowledge of scaffolding systems, surface preparation, industrial coating systems and corrosion control
• Strong knowledge of HSE requirements and good planning, coordination and reporting skills
