Wood is hiring a Project Controls Manager (Project Services Lead) for its project in Doha, Qatar, as a long-term opportunity. The role oversees the project cost engineer, planner/scheduler, document controller and estimator, and reports to the Portfolio Delivery Manager on the quality, timeliness and content of their work.

The contract covers brownfield onshore oil and gas work, including invoicing to Qatar Shell GTL and work-share offices, so experience leading project services on umbrella contracts is central to the job.

দায়িত্ব

• Develop and maintain the contract project controls plans, own the controls processes and make sure project staff know their responsibilities
• Prepare client and internal project reports
• Support the client on assurance and verification work as requested
• Set up and maintain the project man-hour control system
• Set up and manage the project cost control system and its alignment activities
• Prepare and verify monthly invoices to Qatar Shell GTL and work-share offices, and check incoming invoices from work-share offices
• Set up and manage the project planning system and all project plans
• Set up and manage the project cost estimation system, including benchmarking
• Put in place the controls structure, tools and procedures needed for each project based on the contracting strategy, execution plan and risks
• Own and manage the contract Management of Change (MOC) process
• Own and manage the contract risk management process, including contingency management
• Keep project information and data aligned across project services deliverables

যোগ্যতা

• BSc in Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including 7 years in lead roles managing a project services team
• Minimum 10 years of experience in brownfield oil and gas project delivery
• Minimum 5 years as Project Services Lead on a brownfield oil and gas umbrella contract
• Experience in cost control, cost estimating, project scheduling and risk management
• Experience in portfolio management of projects
• Experience managing resources in a multidiscipline team
• Membership of a project services association is preferred
