The Office of the Commissioner of Taxes, Taxes Zone-3, Chattogram (Ministry of Finance, Internal Resources Division) has invited online applications for 11 Office Assistant cum Computer Typist posts (Grade 16, pay scale Tk 21,900 - 52,900) on a temporary basis through direct recruitment. Only permanent residents of Chattogram and Rangamati districts can apply. Applications are accepted online only at https://tz3ctg.teletalk.com.bd. Online applications opened on 14 October 2026 at 10:00 AM and close on 5 November 2026 at 5:00 PM. After submitting, the applicant receives a User ID and an Applicant's Copy, and the exam fee (Tk 100 plus Tk 12 Teletalk service charge (Tk 112 total)) must be paid by SMS from a Teletalk pre-paid mobile number within 72 hours of getting the User ID. Candidates who applied against the earlier January 2024 advertisement for posts other than Notice Server and Security Guard need not apply again. Written, practical (where applicable) and viva tests will be held; schedules are announced on the office notice board, the website www.taxeszone3ctg.gov.bd and by SMS.

• Age 18 to 32 years as on 1 October 2026; an affidavit is not accepted as proof of age
• Permanent resident of Chattogram or Rangamati district
• Bangladeshi citizen
• Higher Secondary Certificate or equivalent from a recognised board with at least second division or equivalent GPA
• Computer typing speed of at least 20 words per minute in both Bangla and English
• Skill and experience in computer word processing, email and fax machine operation
• Candidates already in government, semi-government or autonomous service must apply through proper channel and bring a No Objection Certificate to the viva
• A person who is not a citizen of Bangladesh, or who is married to / committed to marry a non-citizen, or who has been convicted of moral turpitude, is not eligible
• False or concealed information or forged documents leads to cancellation of candidature; one candidate may apply for only one post
• No TA/DA is paid for the written, practical or viva tests
• Exam fee: Tk 100 plus Tk 12 Teletalk service charge (Tk 112 total), paid by SMS to 16222
