The Office of the Commissioner of Taxes, Taxes Zone-21, Dhaka (MH Tower, 8th floor, 42/43 Purana Paltan, Dhaka-1000) is recruiting for 65 vacant posts in total across 6 categories (Grade 13 to Grade 20) on a temporary basis under the general quota, from genuine permanent residents of Dhaka Metropolitan and Dhaka district, as approved by the Ministry of Finance, Internal Resources Division (NBR), under reference 2S-7/Part-2/DPC/TZ-21/2026-2027/362 dated 11 October 2026. This notice is for 11 posts of Head Assistant (Grade 13, scale Tk 24,000 - 58,000). Applications are accepted online at https://tax21.teletalk.com.bd from 14 October 2026 (10:00 AM) to 3 November 2026 (5:00 PM). Age must be 18 to 32 years as of 1 October 2026 (affidavits are not accepted as proof of age). Employees of government, semi-government and autonomous bodies must apply through proper channel; those already in the tax department apply as Departmental Candidates and must submit a No-Objection letter at the viva. Quotas follow the latest government policy. A written and an oral test will be held; only candidates who pass the written test are eligible for the oral test. A candidate who is not a Bangladeshi citizen or domiciled in Bangladesh, or who is convicted of a moral-turpitude offence, is ineligible. Submission of forged documents or false information leads to cancellation of candidature at any stage. At the viva, candidates must show original documents with photocopies attested by a first-class gazetted officer and two recent colour photographs, including educational certificates. • Bachelor degree in any subject from a recognised university with at least second class or equivalent CGPA
• Computer typing speed of at least 30 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute in Bangla
• Age 18 to 32 years as of 1 October 2026
• Genuine permanent resident of Dhaka Metropolitan or Dhaka district
• Government/semi-government/autonomous employees must apply through proper channel; departmental candidates must carry a No-Objection letter to the viva
