GE Vernova is looking for a GIS Technical Coordinator (Erection and Commissioning) in Dubai. The role covers repairs, technical support and field service on gas insulated substations, working with some autonomy within established policies. The coordinator documents technical work, drafts method statements and non-conformance and root cause reports, and develops the technical skills of more than 60 supervisors across the MEA region to support maintenance and erection and commissioning projects. Arabic and French are listed as an advantage, not a requirement.

• Organize, communicate, and document technical work effectively.
• Draft and manage key documents, including Method Statements, non-conformance reports (NCRs), root cause analysis (RCA) reports, project schedules, and resource plans.
• Develop the technical skills of over 60 supervisors across the MEA region to support Maintenance and E&C projects.
• Serve as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced team members.
• Utilize deep technical knowledge and critical thinking to propose solutions that go beyond standard procedures.
• Analyze data from various internal and external sources to make sound, independent decisions.
• Lead small, low-risk projects and drive team consensus on technical topics.
• Provide indirect people management, including staffing support and performance development.
• Communicate performance expectations clearly and handle sensitive personnel issues as required.
• Work autonomously while coordinating closely with the Field Service, Project, Tooling, and Planning managers to meet customer expectations.
• Apply best practices and ensure seamless integration across different functional areas.

যোগ্যতা

• Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering Technology or a diploma with relevant work experience
• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Technical Manager, Field Service Engineering, and/or Engineering on Gas Insulated Substations (GIS)
• Experience in customer relationship management, project implementation, and technical analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Fluency in English
• This role requires around 10% travel across MEA region
