Coal Power Generation Company Bangladesh Limited (CPGCBL), an enterprise of the Government of Bangladesh, is hiring 2 Assistant Manager (Security) for immediate appointment on contract. Basic salary Tk 52,000 per month.

At least a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university, or HSC or equivalent; the incumbent must be a retired armed forces or BGB officer of the rank of Warrant Officer, Senior Warrant Officer or Master Warrant Officer, or an Inspector of Bangladesh Police. Candidates must be at most 50 years old on 3 November 2026. Experience in a detective branch or security department of the armed forces is preferred, as is experience with defence, paramilitary, law and enforcement personnel. The initial contract is 3 years including a 1-year probation, and can be renewed subject to satisfactory performance up to the age of 60.

• Persons employed in government, semi-government, autonomous organisations or government-owned companies must apply through proper channel
• No third division or class at any stage of academic career; grading-system results need at least GPA 3.5 out of 5.0 and CGPA 2.75 out of 4.0, and conventional results at least 2nd division/class
• O level and A level candidates need at least grade B in each subject; foreign degrees need an equivalent result and certificate from the competent authority
• Strong communication skills in Bengali and English (written and oral) including computer literacy
• Ability to work under challenging and stressful situations, and willingness to work in any area of CPGCBL
• Persuasion of any kind disqualifies the candidate
• Age limit may be relaxed for departmental candidates of CPGCBL
• CPGCBL may increase or decrease the number of posts and cancel any or all applications without giving reasons
