Software Engineer

Gotipath is Bangladesh's largest cloud infrastructure provider since 2016, partnering with telecoms and datacenters to build the first Bangladeshi CDN and Cloud Services with global-standard operations. The company is hiring a Software Engineer to collaborate across the product lifecycle from planning through delivery, writing maintainable, understandable code following established standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across product lifecycle stages from planning through delivery
• Write maintainable, understandable code following established standards
• Design sub-modules alongside leads and code critical components
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, design patterns, and testing practices
• Mentor junior developers
• Deliver production-ready code independently with minimal guidance

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years backend experience with Laravel/Go and MySQL
• Strong understanding of OOP, namespaces, traits, and design patterns
• Knowledge of web servers/load balancers (Apache, Nginx, HAProxy)
• Linux/Unix environment proficiency
• Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities
• Passion for REST APIs and microservices architecture
• Bonus: ReactJS/NextJS experience; CDN and cloud infrastructure knowledge
