Quality Assurance Engineer

Job description

01 Systems is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. You will write and execute test cases at server, client and database level, handle installations and configurations, data verification, troubleshooting, issue tracking, bug reporting, API and security testing, with load testing and test automation also part of the role. Based in Manama, Bahrain.

Responsibilities

• Write and execute test cases for server, client and database levels
• Perform installations and configurations, data verification at database level and troubleshooting
• Track issues and report bugs; carry out API testing and security testing
• Perform load testing and test automation
• Coordinate with product developers and technical support specialists on product issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Systems
• Minimum 2 years of relevant QA experience
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; self-motivated with a drive for continuous improvement
• Hands-on experience testing web-based and client-server applications
• Good experience in SQL/Oracle scripting and database management
• Good knowledge of Windows, Unix and Linux operating systems
• Experience with one or more of: automated testing tools (Playwright, Selenium, QTP, Visual Studio Test Suite), load testing (JMeter), programming (C, C++, C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript), CI tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitHub)
• Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
