Pharmacist

Job description

Avicen is seeking a qualified, customer-focused Pharmacist to dispense medications accurately, provide professional healthcare advice, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and deliver excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Review and dispense prescriptions accurately.
• Counsel patients on the safe and effective use of medications.
• Provide recommendations for over-the-counter (OTC) products.
• Monitor medication stock, expiry dates, and inventory levels.
• Ensure compliance with Ministry of Health regulations and company SOPs.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
• Support health promotion initiatives and patient education.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build positive patient relationships.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or Pharm.D).
• Valid Pharmacist license (or eligibility for licensing as per local regulations).
• Minimum 3 Years of Experience
• Prometric Exam, Dataflow Verification is completed.
• Preferred: experience in retail pharmacy.
• Preferred: familiarity with pharmacy management software.
• Preferred: immediate joiners will be given preference
